Responsibility

Responsibility is taking care of something. It means you will do whatever you need to do to make sure nothing goes wrong. It could be being able to make sure tasks get completed and correctly. It could be taking care of something. I would say responsibility has many definitions.

In sixth grade I got a DS for good grades. Then that following Christmas, my brother and sister got their own. I do not know why, but I decided to let my brother play mine because he could not play his for whatever reason. He dropped it on concrete and scratched it.

I took responsibility for it because I could have told him to play his DS.I also could have set rules like only being able to play on the couch or watch him. I should have known better because he usually does things like this. I took responsibilty in the case that I did not take care of it.

People explore the unknown all the time, and in all kinds of different ways. Some people explore the unknown just for the thrill of the adventure. Others do it in search of treasure or land, like Christophor Columbus found the Americas. Back then, they used a ship, a map, and a compass to get wherever they needed to go, but with today's technology, we can see any part of the Earth from a satelite orbiting in space.

Some people love adventure. They love the journey on their way to their destination. They love discovering new things, new treasures, and new lands. Other people explore for fame or because they are told to do so by a king or ruler.

Most explorers leave behind a wife or family. When they leave, they risk death and not being able to return to their families. They sacrifice love or a father to children.
